Safe, Certified Housing

NARR Level II and CTARR-certified. Structured, substance-free living at 108 Babcock St in Hartford - a stable home during your recovery journey.

Peer Recovery Support

Weekly house meetings, peer mentoring, and a community of women in recovery. You are never alone in this process.

MAT-Friendly Environment

Residents on physician-prescribed MAT are welcome. We coordinate with your medical provider - never against you.

Structured Daily Life

Curfews, drug testing, and house responsibilities create the accountability that makes recovery sustainable long-term.

Referral Coordination

We partner with case managers, parole officers, hospitals, and CCAR Hartford to ensure seamless transitions into the house.

Life Skills & Empowerment

Employment support, budgeting guidance, and connection to vocational resources to help you build an independent life.

Eligibility

Who We Serve

Vittoria House is open to adult women 18 and older who have made a voluntary commitment to recovery and are ready to live in a substance-free home.

  • Women 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum 30 days free from alcohol and non-prescribed drugs
  • Voluntary commitment to a substance-free lifestyle
  • Willing to participate in house meetings and recovery activities
  • Any faith, background, race, or ethnicity - all are welcome
  • Women on MAT under physician supervision
  • Women with legal involvement - evaluated individually

Important Notice

Hartford Women's Recovery - Vittoria House is a peer recovery residence, not a licensed drug or alcohol treatment program. We provide safe, structured, substance-free housing and peer support. We coordinate with outpatient providers and MAT prescribers but do not furnish medical or clinical treatment.

A brief conversation to confirm eligibility, answer your questions, and discuss availability.

Tour & Orientation

Visit Vittoria House, meet the team, and review your resident agreement and house rules.

Move In

Bring your ID, required documents, and initial fee. Move-in is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
