Our mission, our story, and our commitment to women in recovery
Hartford Women's Recovery was founded on one belief: that every woman deserves a safe, stable place to rebuild her life. Vittoria House - our NARR Level II certified recovery residence at 108 Babcock Street in Hartford - provides exactly that.
We are a peer-supported community, not a treatment center. We provide something essential: a home, a community, and a structure that makes recovery possible. We connect residents to clinical, vocational, and community resources while providing the accountability and support that sustain long-term sobriety.
Vittoria House is operated by Dime Shac Foundation Inc., a Connecticut nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality recovery housing for women in the Greater Hartford area.
